Spot is the free community for everyone working at Schiphol. It connects more than 74,000 colleagues through events, news, inspiration and exclusive benefits, making the airport not just a workplace but a community people can actively be part of.
The website brings the community’s four pillars—Work, Play, Balance and Benefits—together in a lively editorial experience that encourages visitors to explore and become a Spot member.
I developed a custom WordPress platform that combines editorial storytelling, event discovery and member benefits in one cohesive experience. Dynamic news and agenda sections make current content easy to find, while clear calls to action support community growth.
The responsive build balances bold visual elements and motion with practical usability. Dedicated accessibility controls allow visitors to adjust typography, contrast, zoom and animation, helping the platform serve the diverse community working across Schiphol.
